50 Cal Glock Extended Clip
These conversions are installed by hand here at Guncrafter Industries and come with the same great warranty and support as all of our 1911 models. The 50 GI™ conversion is designed around this caliber. These are not custom parts, they are hand made from the ground up. The purpose is to allow the end user to have 9+1 .50 caliber cartridges in your large FrameGlock® pistol. This is a great CCW pistol, hunting pistol or just a toy to impress your friends with.

Don't be intimidated by the thought of .50 caliber recoil from a polymer body pistol! Since the 50 GI™ is not part of the magnum family, and because the cartridge operates at such low pressure, you will be pleasantly surprised at how controllable a pistol platform firing the .50 caliber cartridge can be.
Simply strip the pistol, swap the upper end for a .50 GI conversion unit, load the included 9-round magazine, and you're ready to use the most manageable .50 caliber cartridge available. Barrels do not have polygons and are not affected by lead bullets.
Make sure you select the finish options and the generation you need. If you choose the Cerakote finish, choose the stainless steel option. Cerakote is not applied over melonite. Call for custom options.
*Our OurGlock® conversion units with RMR cuts do not come with scope conversion kits. They are direct mounts for RMR/SRO sights. For other sights, it requires a scope conversion kit available elsewhere.

Ten rounds in a slightly extended magazine or nine rounds in a straight-seat one, this conversion reduces capacity to a larger point of impact. The theory behind this round is simple: why spend some of the kinetic energy expanding the projectile when it can be fired already expanded?
The Auto 009 Bb Magazine
50GI is a low-pressure caliber based on the classic .455 Webley models. At the same pressure as the 45ACP, it's easy on the shooter and gives straight follow-up shots not seen with the 50AE or 50S&W. Expanding ammo has a nominal range of 185gr at 1200fps to 275gr at 875fps, and 300gr JSP is available for practice and piercing tough wildlife. The 700 fps 300g load is on the same power level as the 44 Special - a gentle, easy shooting round that works well for quick second and third hits when needed. Expanding bullets are optimized for thin-skinned humanoid enemies, and the 230-grain bullets make holes a foot deep and nearly an inch wide. Light for caliber 185 gr stops at 9 inches, but even makes a fairly wide path. Actual chronographed velocities are very close to 4.5" barrels and higher than spec for 5" to 6" barrels.
Full copper projectiles are quite effective in converting velocity to expansion without fragmenting or folding back the petals
